The 26^th Paris International Dive Show, is once again, an opportunity to organise contests to highlight the work of all photographers.

This year, we're proposing two photo contests with two distinct themes:

• The Mediterranean Sea
• Half-air – half-water

Compared with other years, and as announced, the Show organizers have decided to make a two category distinction for each theme :

• “Amateur photographer” category
• “Professional photographer » category
  A professional photographer is someone who has already won an award in a previous French or international contest.

General information and details:
- The contest is open to all photographers
- To participate, you must choose either the amateur or professional category. If you select the wrong category, your registration will be rejected and your images will be considered as out of competition.
- The contest aims to promote scuba diving.
- For the Mediterranean Sea theme: The composition of the image is free. Pictures must be taken underwater and only in the Mediterranean Sea. The location of the photos must be specified.
- For the half-air, half-water theme: The location of the image is free. The photos must always show a part out of the water.
- A competitor may participate in both themes, but only in one category.

Each participant may submit a maximum of 1 to 3 photos per contest.

Photo integration and image processing:
- Images can be uploaded in 'jpeg', 'jpg', 'png' or 'webp' format.
- The maximum size is 10MB, there is no limitation in px or dpi.
- There are no restrictions on post-processing. However, this is not a Photoshop contest and the winning images are supposed to represent reality.
- Black and white images are accepted.
- Cropping is permitted, but winning images must always have sufficient resolution.
- AI-generated images are not permitted.

Contest dates :
Contest entries and images deposits will be made by midnight (UTC/GMT + 2) on 15 November 2024 at the latest.
The results will be announced on Friday 10 January, at 7 p.m. at the Paris Dive Show, in the Espace Scénique.

Jury and prizes :
Prizes will be awarded for each theme. For each theme, there will be 3 winners.

The winners will discover the results at the awards ceremony on Friday 10 January 2025 at the Show.
