The 26^th Paris International Dive Show is once again an opportunity to organise contests to highlight the work of all filmmakers.

This year, we're proposing two films contests with two distinct themes :

• The Mediterranean 
• The half-air, half-water image

Compared with other years, and as announced, the Show organizers have decided to make two category distinction for each theme :

• “Amateur videographer” category
• “Professional videographer category
  A professional videographer is someone who has already won an award in a previous French or international contest.

General information and details on the theme:
- The contest is open to all videographers.
- To participate, you must choose either the amateur or professional category. If you select the wrong category, your registration will be rejected and your film will be considered as out of competition.
- The contest aims to promote scuba diving.
-  All videos must include at least some underwater images.
-  For the Mediterranean theme,  the contest is an opportunity to raise public awareness of the beauty  of the Mediterranean Sea. There may be a terrestrial part and necessarily an underwater part, and only in the Mediterranean Sea. The film location must be specified.
- For the Half-air - half-water image theme: The location of the film is free. Films may include a terrestrial section and an underwater section, with a compulsory one minute of half-air/half-water images.
- A competitor may participate in both themes, but only in one category.

Each participant may submit a maximum of 1 to 3 films.

Films integration and time :
- The easiest way to integrate videos is to copy the URL of the YouTube video as it appears in the browser.
- The film can be a promotional film, a short film, an advert, etc...
- The film must not be longer than 3 minutes. A difference of a few seconds may be accepted. If the period exceeds 4 minutes, the films will be considered out of the contest.
- The jury will assess the images, the soundtrack and the quality of the montage.

Contest date :
Contest entries and deposits will be made by midnight (UTC/GMT + 2) on 15 November 2024 at the latest.
The results will be announced on Friday 10 January, at 7 p.m. at the Paris Dive Show, in the Espace Scénique.

Jury and Awards :

Prizes will be awarded for each theme. For each theme, there will be 3 winners.

Participants will discover the results at the awards ceremony on Friday 10 January 2025 at the Show.
